We have been invited to assist with the 2nd annual Fishing Derby and Cookout held by Cub Scout Pack 241. Troop 215 scouts can help the boys with their fishing and/or help with the Camping 101 display and presentation. The event will be held at John Prince Park, Island Pavillion, this Saturday, July 27th. The event will go from 8:30 to approx. 1pm. A cookout lunch will be served. This is a great opportunity to show this pack what a great troop we are. Community Service Hours will be awarded. Feel free to bring your own rods, but don’t forget to focus on helping and encouraging the cub scouts. Let me know if you plan to attend so we can ensure there will be enough food. If you want service hours, please sign in with me when you arrive. Don’t forget hats & sunscreen. Troop 215 Class B’s are fine, but if you would like to help with the camping presentation, please bring a Class A shirt with you.
