Announcements for 3/10/15

Meeting Details: Wear full class A, bring a drinking cup. This meeting is the troop’s Court of Honor and the transition into the new term!

The troop is selling camp cards, talk to Mrs. Katz to turn in your money or leftover cards, and please do your best to help sell!

Please help all the new crossovers feel welcome into our troop!

Camp Shands Fees

• Total $215 if paid in full by 5/8
• Next payment $100 due by 3/31
• Additional $65 due by 4/28

Assignments for this month:

• Setup: Patrick Stars  (Arrive 15 minutes early so you have time to set up)
• Opening/Closing: Vipers
• Cleanup: Thunderbirds

Upcoming Events:

• March 14: Intro to Troop Leadership Skills. This is for the upcoming PLC. The class will be from 9am to 3pm, lunch will be provided. The dress code is Class A. Please bring with you a notebook, drink cup, Troop activity plans and a great attitude. The class is mandatory for the members of the PLC. If you will be unable to attend, please contact Mr. Putnik.
• March 27-29: Oklawaha campout. We will be doing wilderness survival activities. For scouts who would rather not engage in wilderness survival, we will be teaching the Fireman chit and Totin Chip. It will cost $28.00 for food and transportation. Sign Ups cost $26 and finish THIS TUESDAY.
• April 24-26: River Raft Regatta. March 24th is the Early Bird deadline for the River Raft Regatta campout. The early bird price is $41 unless troop funds go to lower the price.
