Joshua Katz Eagle Scout Project

Hello Troop 215 this is Josh Katz announcing that my Eagle Scout project was approved last week on Wednesday.

So if you want to work on an awesome project that is becoming a part of the South Florida National Cemetery forever, you can this Saturday May 16th 2015!

The on-site portion of my project is to build a memorial garden in the South Florida National Cemetery.

The on-site work, Saturdays work, at the Cemetery will be to:
Clear the area that we are working on (without hurting the plants);
Lay down a weed barrier;
Install a new rock garden;
Add mulch around the new rock garden;
And plant a row of 5 pine trees (one for each branch of the military).

Arrival time is 7:30am and at the latest we can be done by 2:30pm

The more volunteers that we have, the quicker we can get the work done.

And I will also be inviting the news to come and see the new memorial garden while it is being built.

Lunch and snacks will be provided.
